ABS and PLA material are the most common used filament in FDM 3D printing. As we know that both of them has their advantages and disadvantages.
ABS has good physical properties, high temperature resistance,high intensity, but easy crisp and edge warping.
PLA is eco-friendly, high toughness and have good forming, but low temperature resistant and weak.
After numerous trial to combine them in different rate still not getting good printing result, some kind of activated material should be used as catalyzer to make ABS and PLA intensify and perfect combine during plasticize.
PHA is a kind of natural polymer biological material which is more eco-friendly than PLA. Good biocompatibility, good biodegradability, heat treatable, good ultraviolet stability which prevents filament from aging and damage from sunlight and lamplight.
With PHA's join, it perfectly combines ABS and PLA. The filament is hard, toughness, temperature resistance, good fluidity, stable forming, no warping and good texture.
